PROFILE

Born in 1957, almost an old man?

He started dirt trials during his university days, won the overall championship in his second race, and considered himself a genius.

It's an illusion.

He then competed in the All Japan Dirt Trial, achieving multiple podium finishes before retiring.

The other day we were fighting in front-wheel drive cars.

After retiring from dirt track racing, he enjoys racing on the circuit in his dream FR Eunos Roadster, and participates in the Nikko Tuning Car Championship and Roadster Championship.

However, he grew tired of tuning cars because of the huge performance difference, so he decided to enter the Fuji Champion Race Series Roadster Cup, a JAF-approved one-make race where all cars are on equal terms.

He won pole position in his debut race.

He won the series championship in 2008 and 2009.

Since retiring, he enjoys virtual racing in VR, iRaching.

Perhaps it's his tendency to not be satisfied until he's tried making everything himself that's his downfall? He's also working on creating things using 3D printers and developing apps.

One wife and 13 cats. My wife is involved in cat rescue activities!
